REBIS
This word represents the sun and the moon and all the planets. It’s a feminine word representing the serpent or dragon force. It is the gestating power of birth, and is the orphic egg. This word Rebis is on the heart of an androgynous being, and represents the dual nature of the sun, the visible sun and the black sun of the initiates. Lucifer is here represented as the godhead on top of the egg. The dragons head is shown near the planet Venus on the picture, and the planet Saturn is on the tail of the dragon. The two dragon’s points represent the northern part of the breath of life of Eden, in the mountains of birth, and their death of the fiery part of the earth in the south. This is where life is annihilated. So birth and death is a major factor in this symbol of Rebis.
To get deeper we see the measuring equipment in Lucifer’s hands. These are freemasonry symbols of god. Or the great architect of the universe. Mercury is above the twin heads, and he is also Hermes. Hermes is the messenger of the gods; he is delivering death and birth to this universe. Rebis also represents the creation of the word of god or the human race, the deliverer of the music of the spheres or the ancient of days.
The figure seen in this picture is surrounded by an oval shape, the shape of the female organ. It represents the birth place of man, the deluge of microcosmic proportions, and the birth of the macrocosm. Rebis also means the separator, the twofold division of the pillars of the earth. It harks back to the symbolism of the head and tail of the serpent. It should be known that the head and tail of the dragon is also the moons nodes, the north node, is our present karma, and the south node is our past karma. When these two operate it gives your destiny in astrology.
There are also others symbols for the dragon tail and mouth, they are the fishes head, and tail, the lions mouth, and tail, and the Ouroborus with its serpent tail and mouth.
